• Skype 7 has stopped working?

Official support for Skype 7 was ended by Microsoft in November 2018; in January 2019, versions 7.40 were blocked from entering, but rolling back to the older 7.36 resolved the situation. Around May 2019, the old versions, along with their protocol, were completely disabled.

• Are there any ways to return to Skype 7?

Unfortunately, as of July 2024, a method to restore the old official client has not been found.

Skype 8 Mods (Windows)

• Why do mods only replace sounds and images?

Skype 8 js files use code obfuscation to improve security and prevent hacking. Bringing the code back to its original state is very difficult. I don't have the skills to fully change the code of new versions..

• What's the problem with version 8.49?

In older Skype 8 clients, it was not possible to reply with a message to a photo. Therefore, when some user with the new Skype 8 client uses this function, the old versions cannot process such messages correctly and crash into a blue screen

At this point, the installer blocks Skype from auto-updating and registers a copy of Skype in the “default programs.” You can always check the antiupd_protocol_patch.bat file in the Skype installation folder and make sure that the installer is not doing anything else to your device.

This usually takes up to several days. However, sometimes I can be too busy in real life or with other projects to quickly add a group to the list.

• What are the requirements to add a group to the list?

To add a group to the list, it must have a MINIMUM of 10 members and at least 25 messages per week. Its name should not contain obscene language, and the group itself should not contain illegal activities or incite hatred.

• Can I set rules for my group?

Of course, Google Form has the ability to add rules that will be displayed when you try to connect to it.
