This site was created by those who are not indifferent to Skype and its older versions even in 2024.
In 2018, support for older versions of Skype (7.x or lower) was discontinued, which not everyone liked. The new Skype 8 on the Electron engine had a rather poor design at first, used many more resources compared to 7.x, Skype 8 lacks many features previously available in older versions...
